Task description:
Ensuring the coherence and complementarity of the contractor's services with other project services at local and national level in the area of work package 1;
Design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of capacity development measures for local partners in work package 1;
Responsibility for the consideration of cross-cutting issues;
Personnel management, in particular identification of the need for short-term assignments within the available budget as well as planning and management of assignments and supervision of local and international experts for work package 1;
Ensuring impact monitoring;
regular and timely reporting;
Responsibility for monitoring the use of funds and financial planning in consultation with the GIZ Commissioning Officer (CO);
Processing of local subsidies
Qualifications:
University degree (Master's degree or equivalent "Diplom") in economics, engineering or environmental sciences;
Language skills in English at level C1 and German at level C1 CEFR (max. 7 points for English, max. 3 points for German);
10 years of professional experience in the energy and/or environmental sector;
5 years of professional experience in education and training in the energy and/or environmental sector;
2 years of management experience in projects, companies or other organizations with disciplinary leadership of at least 5 people;
3 years of professional experience in at least two countries outside the MENA region;
3 years of professional experience in the MENA region;
4 years of experience in development cooperation projects;
2 years of experience with the development and/or use of expert pools in a project
