Jordan: Support for training providers in offering labor market oriented vocational training (MOVE-HET II)
Task description:
Overall responsibility for the contractor's consulting packages;
Ensuring the coherence and complementarity of the contractor's services with other project services at local and national level;
Design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of capacity development measures for local partners in all 3 areas of work;
Responsibility for the consideration of cross-cutting issues;
Personnel management, in particular identifying the need for short-term assignments within the available budget as well as planning and managing the assignments and supporting local and international specialists;
Ensuring impact monitoring;
regular and timely reporting in English and German;
Responsibility for monitoring the use of funds and financial planning in consultation with the GIZ contract officer;
Supporting the AV in updating and/or adapting the project concept, in evaluations and in preparing a follow-up phase
Responsibility for compliance with GIZ standards regarding local grants
Qualifications:
Master's degree or equivalent diploma in economics, education, social sciences or engineering;
Language skills in English at level C1 and German at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages for languages (CEFR) (max. 5 points in the assessment scheme for each language);
10 years of professional experience in the private sector;
5 years of professional experience in German dual vocational or higher education;
6 years of management experience in projects, companies or other organizations with disciplinary management of 10 or more people;
3 years of professional experience in at least two countries outside the MENA region;
3 years of professional experience in the MENA region;
6 years of experience in development cooperation projects;
2 years of experience with the development and/or use of expert pools in a project
