The project will initiate close cooperation between representatives of the Kyrgyz economy (enterprises) and selected providers of further training in order to make the training programmes more responsive to the demands of the workplace. The activities in this regard are part of the overall strategy, “sustainable economic development”, of the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development. Selected public and private training providers are provided with new curricula of a modular structure. Besides this, the German side will support the training providers with facilities to ensure the quality of the training courses. As a result of this intervention, the ability of the students to find an adequate job in the Kyrgyz economy should be enhanced.
