Task description:

Tasks of experts

- Coordinates and supervises the entire land-use planning process in the sucos, covering 2 sucos in a 3-months period (4 sucos on average in total per person).

- Drafts the village regulations in Tetum.

- Gives input to the development of the guidelines.

- Considers cross-cutting themes (e.g. gender equality)

Qualifications:

Qualifications of experts

- Education/training (2.6.1): All experts with Bachelor’s degree in any relevant subject (e.g. forestry, agriculture, political science, economics, law)

- Language (2.6.2): All experts with Tetum (mother tongue), English (B2 – please provide evidence)

- General professional experience (2.6.3): All experts with 5 years in the relevant sectors (e. g. forestry, agriculture, political science, economics, law)

 

- Specific professional experience (2.6.4): All experts with 1 year in land-use planning, village planning or similar processes and familiarity with the JICA approach.

- Regional experience (2.6.5): None

- Development Cooperation (DC) experience (2.6.6): All experts with 2 years of experience in DC projects
