Sustainable Textile Industry in Cambodia - Services to strengthen capacities for sustainable management in the textile sector
Task description:
Project Management: Focal point in absence of the TL and regular contact person for GIZ’s officer responsible for the commission (DV);
Reports to GIZ’s officer responsible for this commission (DV), in coordination with TL;
Support to the TL in organizing logistics of Short-Term experts in Cambodia;
Support to the TL in coordinating learning events, conferences, workshops, and strategic exchanges;
Support to the TL in developing the implementation strategy;
Overseeing and coordinating the implementation of the strategy;
Monitoring indicator, milestones and activities;
Relationship management and liaison with local service providers;
Develop and monitor capacity development strategy for the five services;
Revision and improvement of existing training/capacity building measures on the five services for local service providers;
Support CD/training experts in organising Training of Trainers (ToT) on five services in cooperation with local providers;
Support CD/training experts in providing CD for local service providers;
Collection and processing of relevant monitoring data to assess effectiveness of services
Qualifications:
Education/training: University degree in environmental sciences, social sciences, engineering, business administration, economics or geography;
Languages: Knowledge of English (C1) in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (6 out of 10 points), Khmer (C2) (2 out of 10 points) and Mandarin (B2) (2 out of 10 points);
General professional experience: 7 years of professional experience in providing advisory service to companies in the industrial sector regarding strategic and operational management
Specific professional experience: 5 years of professional experience in providing advisory service in the textile and garment sector
Leadership/management experience (2.2.5): Project management in 2 projects in the last 5 years in a management or leadership position;
Development cooperation (DC) experience (2.2.7): 3 years in DC
Other (2.2.8): 2 years of experience with a service provider
