Task description:

Main Project Features:

•    Implementation of training courses (3-5 days) for GIZ staff and consultants in presence and online about the management model “Capacity WORKS” (CW) of GIZ.

•    Trainings are conducted worldwide in English (Lot 1), German, Spanish and French (Lot 2) based on a predefined concept and materials from GIZ

•    Around 100 trainings in 2026-2027 + potential additional 100 trainings in 2028-2029 to be implemented by around 15 different trainers, coordinated by one Team Leader (TL).

Description of Tasks:
•    Participating in a reimbursed training of trainers (ToT)
•    Preparing and conducting training courses (usually as a trainer tandem)
•    Providing training documentation to participants and GIZ
•    Evaluating training courses and making recommendations for further improvement

Place of Performance and Assignment Duration:
-    Remote/Worldwide, part-time from December 2025 to December 2027 (with extension options to December 2029). 
Qualifications:

Qualifications Required: 
-    Exclusion criteria: GIZ Capacity WORKS certificate required
-    Education: Completed academic degree (Master's or Magister/Diploma) from a university or college or equivalent qualification
-    Language: English (C1) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
-    General professional experience: 5 years of experience in designing and delivering training courses in adult education on various training topics
-    Specific professional experience: 7 years of consulting experience in designing capacity development processes, 5 years of consulting experience in systemic organizational consulting at all CD levels, experience in delivering virtual courses and seminars via MS Teams
-    Professional experience in the country of assignment: 5 years of experience (implementation and consulting) in the field of Capacity WORKS in German development cooperation partner countries
-    Experience in the field of development cooperation: 7 years of experience in consulting on German development cooperation/international cooperation projects
-    Other: All pool members have systemic qualifications/training in systemic consulting
