| Task description: |
The Team Leader/ Quality Assurance Expert- will have the overall responsibility for the sound management and timely implementation of the project as well as the efficient use of project funds. He/she shall be responsible for planning and supervising all project activities, and carrying out/taking part in the implementation of the activities of the project. The Team Leader shall be responsible for the field management of the team of experts. The Team Leader should have the possibility, in consultation with the Consultant’s Project Director (to be covered under backstopping), to mobilise backstopping expertise to address unforeseen problems and technical issues. In addition to his management tasks, the Team Leader/ Key Expert 1 shall be responsible for the implementation of the project activities, especially those in the area of EQAVET. |

| Qualifications: |
• At least University degree in Education or Social Sciences. If no University degree, general professional experience of 5 (five) years above the minimum general professional experience requested below. General professional experience • Minimum 10 years of general professional experience in in education and vocational education working in EU member states.
• Experience as Team Leader in at least two (2) EU funded projects, of at least 18 months duration each, in the field of education. |

| Other information: |
The location of the assignment shall be in Skopje. The consultant shall have to implement activities all over the country in any other locations where it shall be necessary to provide for successful completion of all activities and achievement of results. Note that civil servants and other staff of the public administration, of the partner country or of international/regional organisations based in the country, shall only be approved to work as experts if well justified. The justification should be submitted with the tender and shall include information on the added value the expert will bring as well as proof that the expert is seconded or on personal leave.
