Our Kenya teams recently hosted a lively Breakfast Meet & Greet in Nairobi — bringing together colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to share experiences and ideas. 

Beyond coffee and conversation, the event at Ikigai, Lower Kabete showcased how GOPA is making an impact in Kenya and across the EAC region:
•    Strengthening youth employability through vocational training
•    Advancing digital transformation
•    Supporting regional integration and infrastructure
•    Enhancing health systems
•    Building climate resilience through the Drought Resilience Programme in Northern Kenya (DRPNK)

The project deep dive into the DRPNK project highlighted how investments in water, irrigation, and sustainable livelihoods are helping communities in Turkana and Marsabit adapt to climate change.

We wrapped up with a dynamic roundtable discussion on county-level performance management, proving again that GOPA’s cross-sectoral expertise on the county-level is a real value for future activities in that field. Together, we’re continuing to develop ideas into impact.
